About us
John the Handyman's is a hardware, DIY & Pet supplies store located in Princes End, Tipton in the heart of the Black Country.
The shop was established in 1969, by 'John' himself; when we took over in 2004, it was a well known local landmark, so there was no way we could change the name.
We don't mind if you call us John!
After trading for a couple of years, we undertook a large refurbishment. We extended from number 97 into number 99 next door, doubling the size of the shop and increasing the products and services we're able to offer. Our team is very knowlegable about the products we sell and will do our best to help you where we can. If there is anything you cannot find, please ask as we may be able to obtain it and if you require any help we will endevour to do our best for you.
Our products and services include hardware & DIY products; gardening supplies (including a large range of ornaments bird tables and bedding plants during the season); paint & decorating products; janitorial supplies (including our own brand professional quality products); a comprehensive range of ironmongery locks & door furniture; plumbing products; a small range of timber; car care products; key cutting service and pet supplies (including a large range of bird seed falconry food and frozen dog food).
Our opening times are: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Saturday 9am to 4pm Sunday 9am to 1pm.
